Gilda Linder, M.Ed. LPC-MHSP, DARTT

Welcome, I’m Gilda, I look forward to meeting you.

I am so happy you’re here, reaching out and taking a courageous step towards a more fulfilling way to live. No one is meant to go through life alone. It takes strength to seek support. I am honored to be with you in your process of growth and change.

I grew up moving a lot due to my father’s job. Travel offered a variety of opportunities and challenges. Meeting so many people taught me to value each person for his or her individual qualities and to view the (trustworthy) people I encountered as treasures. I have learned through life’s experiences how painful and joyful experiences both shape us as individuals. I can honestly say that there is growth and healing on the other side of suffering and trauma.

Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-worth, relationship issues, or the results of trauma, I help you to find the root of the issue in order to heal. I use evidence-based treatment models to teach you the skills needed to diminish issues, address patterns, and heal core wounding for lasting change. My goal is to collaborate with clients so that they can thrive and more clearly reflect the splendor of who they are.

I work with clients ages 10 and up, on various issues including Developmental and Relational Trauma, Attachment Wounding, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Trauma, Self-Worth, Relationship Issues, Emotional Overwhelm, Grief, Sports Trauma Stress Disorder (STSD), Sports Performance, and OCD.

I am trained in Secure Attachment Focused Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (S.A.F.E. EMDR) Therapy, Brainspotting Levels 1-3, Healing Our Core Issues (HOCI), Developmental and Relational Trauma (DART), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for treating OCD, EMDR for Children, EMDR for Eating Disorders, EMDR for Couples, and Prepare/Enrich Premarital Counseling.

I offer a Christian faith-based counseling lens for those who request this approach along with counseling.
